Foundation for Lot 14

The construction on Lot 14 is finally beginning.  This neighborhood calls for a "raised slab" look, so the foundation on this one sits 2' above the road (typically its only 1').  Everything went smoothly with the pour, despite the recent rain.  We had the whole thing poured in less than 4 hours.  The form boards came off the next day and it looks great.

Here you see the form boards for the raised slab

A lot of hard work goes into getting everything just right.

Fireplace project

After a couple of months of working in our spare time, we finally completed the fireplace project for our backyard.  I dug, formed and poured a 6 c. yard foundation and then had a masonry subcontractor build the fireplace.  Can't wait for a cold snap to try it out!

New Opportunity...River Ranch Estates

I'm doing some new advertising in River Ranch Estates located on Reins Rd.  If you're traveling west on Hwy 105, turn left on Reins Rd (near Bevil Oaks) and the subdivision is ~1/2 mile on the right.  There are multiple lots available in varying sizes.

Labor Day fun

We are working on a pond project at our home.  I had a chance to do some of the digging myself and even had a little help from Brooks.  Now...what do I do with all this DIRT?!

Dream bathtubs

My wife and I are discussing plans for building another house together.  I ran across these tubs and definitely want to incorporate one of these in the master bath.

This is such an exciting part of the job.  Love getting to see it start from the beginning.  Just arranged 30 loads of 60/40 for a potential client's new house.  (979 Meeker Rd in Beaumont)
